A disastrous year for Newcastle falling from 5th place to 12th, and lucky that it was only a loss of 7 places. But wait, there’s worse to come. This team is a shambles and they are going to be in deep trouble this year. Everyone, and I mean everyone is either left or leaving, with no suitable replacements signed. Manager, Eddie Howe, was replaced by Matthias Jaissle!!? It would be a lot quicker to name any of last year’s team that are remaining or are not looking for a way out. I think the guy who makes the tea and whoever cuts the grass are still there. You can’t deny that they are making some good money selling off their best talent, but if they are relegated, it’s going to take some major rebuilding to secure their return, I wouldn’t be holding my breath.
