Julen Lopetegui didn’t last long as West Ham’s New manager (22 games, only winning 7 of them). He was replaced by Graham Potter who up until now hasn’t done much better. At times last year they were so bad they didn’t look like they belonged in the Premier League. After Lucas Paqueta has been cleared of match fixing (very hard to prove conclusively) they are looking to unload him. He is on the market for about $20 mil less than they paid for him. Might be a tough sell? I mean…..can you trust him?
A useful addition to their squad was Kyle Walker-Peters from Southampton who they got on a free transfer. The Hammers are going to need more than just him if their fortunes are to improve. If any of the newly promoted teams show any promise, West Ham could be looking at a serious chance of relegation.
