Fulham are in the market to improve their team. Apart from looking to Arsenal for any unwanted players (a frequent supply of left-over talent for the West Londoners) they are actively pursuing Raheem Sterling from Chelsea. At approx 25 mil, he looks like a bargain but his $300,000 plus weekly wages will be a stumbling block. He may have been worth that kind of money back in the day, but no team in their right mind would agree to that kind of burden at this stage of his career. The Cottagers are looking to climb the ladder and may be even eyeing a spot in Europe next year.
Some improvement from an 11th place finish last year should be on the cards for this ambitious team. They could be looking at a 7th or 8th spot by the time it’s all done.
