Nottingham Forest played above themselves for much of last season (much to my surprise) but towards the end they started to fade. The upcoming season will see a return to their old ways. They can no longer depend on Chris Woods,who is well into his 30’s, to keep them afloat. With the added games in the Europa Cup, Forest could find themselves overwhelmed. No real impactful transfers have been made as yet and a mid-table finish is the best they can hope for.
The Tricky Trees have a relatively easy start to the season but of course there is a balance and that comes at the end of the season when they have a lot of difficult games and I think they will fade again this year, much like last.
